Citroën C4F 1931 with a Ridelles platform
Repaired around 30 years ago.
After the war, it was converted into a flatbed lorry. It carries a “Réception Mines” plate dated 17 June 1959. Later on, another flatbed was rebuilt from old photographs; a few photos of the original flatbed still exist.
It has appeared in several films, including “Graf Zeppelin”.
The following work has been carried out on the car over the past three years:
Starter rebuild: €500
Alternator rebuild: €400
Carburettor rebuild: €300
Radiator rebuild: €1, 600
New water pump: €300
No filler—just proper, honest welding.
I wanted to fit a “Montagne” four-speed gearbox to my C4. So I found one—quite rare—in France and had it overhauled. It hasn’t been fitted yet.
