Citroën C4F 1931 Rideles platform
Repaired about 30 years ago.
After the war, it was converted into a flatbed truck. It bears a 'Réception Mines' plate dated 17 June 1959. Later, another flatbed was rebuilt from old photographs; a few photos of the original flatbed exist.
It has appeared in several films, including 'Graf Zeppelin'.
The following work has been carried out on the car in the last three years:
Starter overhaul: 500 €
Alternator overhaul: 400 €
Carburettor overhaul: 300 €
Radiator overhaul: 1, 600 €
New water pump: 300 €
No filler, only honest welds.
I wanted to fit a four-speed 'Montagne' gearbox on my C4. I found one, fairly rare, in France and restored it. It has not yet been fitted.
