Description
1994 AUDI RS2
Magnificent Audi RS2 Avant presented in an elegant dark grey colour, with a black leather interior in excellent condition. Based on the Audi 80 S2 Avant, this RS2 is powered by the famous 2. 2-litre turbocharged inline five-cylinder engine developing 315 horsepower, paired with the permanent all-wheel drive quattro transmission. It combines exceptional performance with the versatility of an estate car, while retaining a very endearing character.
The interior benefits from electric windows, a glass sunroof, automatic climate control and a Hi-Fi system, offering refined comfort while remaining decidedly sporty, faithful to the spirit of premium Audis of the 1990s.
Born from the collaboration between Audi and Porsche, this RS2 illustrates the birth of the high-performance estate concept. Porsche elements are numerous and iconic: mirrors and indicator/ fog lamp assemblies from Type 993, 17-inch five-spoke Cup wheels from the 968, Porsche-badged brake calipers and prominent bumpers inspired by the Type 964. These details give it a muscular and immediately recognisable look, as well as a unique visual character in Audi production of the era.
This model has been meticulously maintained: new brake discs, KW shock absorbers replaced in 2022 (works costing about €20, 000), full detailing with ceramic coating carried out in the same year. Its MOT is valid until December 2026.
With 169, 983 km on the clock, this RS2 remains ready to hit the road in the best possible condition. Combining performance, reliability and character, it is a rare and iconic example, carefully preserved and among the most notable sport wagons ever produced.
