Description
Rare 1946 Matchless 500cc, in very good condition, old restoration, matching numbers. I replaced the headlamp with a small flyscreen to give it a racing look, but of course I would rebuild it with its original headlamp and horn switch. It’s a 500cc, incredibly torquey and powerful for its era; no surprise that Matchless held its own in racing. The brake shoes are new and the magneto has been rebuilt. Registration document in my name. No swaps. Triumph, Norton, AJS, BSA, Velocette, Vintage. Viewable in Nantes.
