The bodywork was restored a few years ago and given a full new paint job. Overall it is in very good display condition, with a uniform shade and excellent gloss. After a professional polish carried out with an orbital machine by our workshop, we noted a scratch corrected on the left-front wing as well as a small paint chip corrected on the right-rear wing. The chromed bumpers are perfectly aligned and in excellent condition. The bumper rubbers are also in good condition, we noted a slight oxidation on the front rubbers. This example has a chromed badge bar and its long door horns. The black faux leather hood and its cover are in excellent condition with no fading, wear or sagging. Fitting is easy and watertightness meets the standards of the period. The mica glass is translucent, with no cracks or fractures. This example has a black faux leather hood cover in perfect condition. The four chromed spoked wheels and their four knock-offs are in excellent condition. The VREDESTEIN tyres show 30% wear front and rear. This example has its original spare wheel (spoked wheel painted). Among the notable exterior/ body options and equipment this model is equipped with: chromed badge bar, long wheelbase and hood cover in black faux leather. Interior: The black leather upholstery with red piping is in very good original condition, without major faults. It shows uniform patina, with no craquelure or tears. The burl wood dashboard is in good condition. The black faux leather dashboard cap is in perfect condition. The SMITHS instrument cluster is fully functional. Heating ventilation does not work. This example is fitted with a new MOTOLITA wooden three-spoke steering wheel and a wooden gear knob. The DUAL cassette stereo is fully functional. This example has 2-point aviation-type seat belts front and rear. The black-colour carpets are in very good condition, free of stains or tears. They are protected by PVC over rugs. AUSTIN HEALEY.
