Kawasaki kz 750B from 1979, twin-cylinder. Fully restored by me. Perfect condition and flawless operation. The list is long so I’ll miss some. For the front: complete front fork overhaul, forks, tubes, seals, gaiters, new mudguard, handlebars/ mirrors new as well as master cylinder. Of course fluid and inspection and brake caliper with pads. Bike stripped bare, frame and bodywork painted (this is the only thing not perfect) light orange-peel on the varnish of the fuel tank. Seat recovered, electrical circuit checked and repaired as needed. New stainless silencers, custom-made by a pro (Mécatwin), a strict copy of the original (€1800). New tyres, speedometer restored by a pro. Engine opened for breaking in, valve seats, valve guides, cylinder deglazing, new rings (original size). Well I’m probably forgetting some things; discussion would be nicer by phone. The bike is normally not for sale, but I’m open to trade offers. My number-one wish would be a Yamaha XS 650 or a TX from ’73 or a 447 from ’75/’76, or if selling, asking price €6, 800. The bike plus restoration cost me around €8, 000.
