Over the past decades, Dortmund’s former Alfa Classic Center (ACC) has restored more than 100 classic Alfa Romeo vehicles with the utmost precision and remarkable passion. Today, the business operates under the name Scuderia Sportiva Servizio GmbH, but the experienced team and their broad know-how remain fully available to meet all current and future challenges. Demand for so-called “restomod” models is currently growing strongly – a fascinating blend of the timeless aesthetics of classic cars and the performance of the most modern technologies. A vintage car that not only preserves the eternal beauty of its era but also captivates with contemporary performance and reliability. For many enthusiasts, such a vehicle is far more than a simple car: it is a living bridge between tradition and innovation – a rolling masterpiece that breathes history and moves forward with a new heart. At the heart of our latest restomod project lies the legendary Alfa Romeo 2000 Touring Spider. This elegant cabriolet, produced from 1958 to 1962 and designed by the renowned Carrozzeria Touring, embodies, like few other vehicles, the perfect synthesis of Italian design and masterful engineering. While its powerful sibling, the 2600 Spider, impresses with athletic presence, the 2000 Touring Spider represents charming lightness and the dolce vita – the Italian sweetness of life. The four-cylinder engine installed at the time entices with its liveliness, but it lacks the punch characteristic of a six-cylinder. Our restomod project elevates this classic beauty to a whole new level of performance: a rebuilt and optimised Alfa Romeo 6-cylinder, 2. 6‑litre engine has been installed – including all necessary bodywork adaptations to ensure a perfect harmony between elegance and power. Coupled with a 5‑speed gearbox and improved brakes and suspension, this cabriolet with refined lines becomes a modified classic suitable for daily use – a unique amalgam of style, comfort and driving dynamism. The original hard-top is included in the offer. The 2000 Touring Spider has long been regarded as an icon, its bodywork restored to concours level and protected against corrosion using a latest‑generation KTL coating. The new owner currently benefits from the exclusive possibility to individually configure exterior colour, interior and technical enhancements – a bespoke Gentleman-Racer that blends elegance and performance. The vehicle’s original documents from day one are kept. The original speedometer will be overhauled properly as part of the restoration. At the end of the work, the odometer will be reset as part of the restoration. Of course, this operation will be fully documented, guaranteeing complete traceability of the total mileage of the vehicle at any time. We provide a 12‑month warranty on all restoration work carried out by us. This warranty is conditional on performing the maintenance and service operations prescribed by us or by an authorised service partner. A personalised photo book exhaustively documents all restoration steps and highlights the high quality of the work performed. This offer is non-binding, subject to errors and intermediate sale.
