ERA is one of the best (if not the best) American manufacturers of replicas of the famous SHELBY COBRA. ERA has an unparalleled reputation in the USA and are of much higher quality than Contemporary, Unique Motorcars, Shell Valley, Arntz, Lone Star, Dax, Pilgrim… and MOST OF ALL some are eligible for the French “Carte Grise de Collection”, like this one (unlike Superformance, Kirkham, Backdraft which cannot be registered in France).
Powertrain:
- Big-block Ford FE engine / Aluminium Edelbrock Performer intake manifold / Aluminium Performer cylinder heads / 1x 4-barrel Holley carburettor / oil pressure steady, a sign of a very healthy engine.
- Oil change carried out / oil filter replaced
- Aluminium water pump / 5-row radiator / large puller fan drawing hot air from the radiator
- Side pipes chromed / ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds
Transmission:
- Tremec TKO600 5-speed gearbox (better suited than the 4-speed units usually found on these cars / smoother driving / lower fuel consumption / engine preserved)
- Recent clutch master and slave cylinders
Interior:
- Stewart-Warner instrumentation (all gauges working)
- 15-inch MotoLita steering wheel
- 2-point harness
- Glove box / pockets in the doors
- Windscreen wipers / sun visor / side deflectors
- Carpets in very good condition
Suspension / Brakes / Running gear:
- Halibrand-style wheels with centre-locks
