The MG F and MG TF are MG's compact roadsters, sold between 1995 and 2011. They are powered by a mid-mounted engine and rear-wheel drive.
The MG F was launched in autumn 1995 by the Rover Group, then owned by BMW.
It was fitted with a 1. 8-litre K-series engine, developing 122 bhp (89 kW) or 147 bhp (108 kW) for the more powerful version (the latter equipped with VVC, variable valve timing). In both cases the car came with a five-speed manual gearbox.
