Description
AD Sportscars is delighted to offer you this elegant 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 3. 2 Cabriolet, presented in a particularly distinctive three-tone blue combination.
First registered in February 1989 and originally delivered to Stuttgart, Germany, this car is from the final year of production of the famous Carrera 3. 2. It blends the incomparable lines of the classic G-series with the highly sought-after five-speed G50 manual gearbox, introduced in the closing years of the model’s production.
The car is finished in metallic blue PTS (L999), complemented by a matching blue interior and a blue fabric hood. This combination gives the vehicle a very distinctive yet beautifully harmonious appearance. It also retains its iconic Fuchs alloy wheels—an unmistakable design feature of the classic, air-cooled 911.
The odometer currently shows 143, 000 kilometres. The accompanying documentation traces its history from 1998.
More recently, the car underwent a comprehensive 111-point inspection at an official Porsche Centre. Following this assessment, all work deemed necessary by Porsche was carried out, representing an investment of around €6, 500. The corresponding invoice is provided with the vehicle.
For added day-to-day usability, the car has also been equipped with Porsche Classic Communication Management, discreetly combining modern connectivity with a design that integrates perfectly with the original interior.
The Carrera 3. 2 is often regarded as one of the most practical versions of the classic air-cooled 911. This 1989 cabriolet, fitted with the G50 gearbox, represents the final development of the G-series—one that enjoyed a long career—before Porsche introduced the more modern 964 generation.
