On 10 August 1987, a truly special event took place. A proud Swiss gentleman visited the Mercedes-Benz dealer with a grin from ear to ear. That day, his dream became reality: the delivery of his all-new Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (R107).
Faithful to Swiss sensibility, he opted for the most refined and reliable specification – the legendary inline-six engine, now fitted with the KE-Jetronic fuel injection system, introduced in 1985. This offered smoother performance, increased power and unrivalled reliability – a visionary choice still today.
Dressed in elegant Nautical Blue Metallic and with a full beige leather interior, this SL embodies timeless style at its finest. A colour combination of exquisite taste that perfectly flatters its classic lines.
The first owner greatly enjoyed the car – but sparingly. Only 25, 000 km were covered in the first two years. Since 1989, a further 6, 000 km have been added, without ever neglecting maintenance or the care given to the car. Always perfectly serviced and fully documented.
It still bears 100% of its original paint and is delivered with its matching hardtop – also in an immaculate, pristine state – this SL has truly stood the test of time.
In 2010, the car was registered in Germany, where its exceptional condition earned it a place in the prestigious Mercedes-Benz Young Classics programme in Stuttgart. It is now proudly offered by Cool Classic Club.
