️Very beautiful condition, authentic, VW certificate, matching numbers / colour
️Maintained without sparing expense: Cylinder head redone, valves, bearings, ignition also... Last major service (€4100) at Voitures Vintage (youngtimers specialist) in October 2024: timing belt and water pump, entire K-Jetronic system, fuel pump, all fuel pressures… Recently replaced: right driveshaft, 4 bearings, brake master cylinder + bleed.
️Upholstery black/ red stripes KL pattern showing slight wear to the driver’s bolster fabric. Dashboard with Mars red trim: production between September and December 1980 only! Original rigid sunroof in excellent condition. ️Bodywork restored in 2017/ 2018 in its original colour L31B. No corrosion obviously.
️Sold new in Switzerland in 1980, where its first owner kept it until 1996, when it arrived in France. 6 owners from 1980 to 2010; I am the 7th since May 2012. Lots of invoices (about sixty) attesting to careful maintenance over the years. Clean file. FFVE certificate obtained, giving the future owner the possibility to obtain a collector’s registration plate allowing driving in low-emission zones (ZFE). The technical inspection is OK.
