Collectors and investors should keep in mind the following: When it comes to Shelby Cobra (replica), the French registration document (carte grise) must correspond to what the vehicle actually is (manufacturer, year, model, engine); this is essential to secure your purchase. French legislation (FFVE) is very strict regarding replicas: in order for a replica to receive a French registration (Collection) in France, it must be over 30 years old (manufacture date), no longer in production, and must be in its original condition. Applying this rule, imposed since 2014 by the French government and the FFVE, very, very few replicas are admissible in France.
