The vehicle presents in the iconic Rosso Alfa colour, paired with a black interior.
It is also fitted with front seats sourced from a GTV coupé.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia is an integral part of Italian automotive culture and attracts as much interest as a classic Ferrari or a Fiat 500. A true benchmark for balance and driving pleasure, it proves to be more playful and a touch firmer than a Bertone coupé.
The model shown here is a Giulia Nuova Super with a vintage, sixties-inspired look: an elegant chrome grille, a distinctive boot lid, and a more refined rear bumper.
Of Dutch origin, this example is the 4th vehicle produced before production ceased in 1977. This Alfa Romeo was displayed in Amsterdam’s showroom, where it was eventually sold in 1978.
The vehicle has been in the same owner’s hands since late 2015, who had acquired it from a marque specialist in the Netherlands.
This Giulia benefited from a restoration between 2010 and 2011. It has also been improved thanks to the installation of a 2. 0-litre engine developing 130 horsepower originally, accompanied by a light mechanical tuning.
Coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox and four disc brakes, this combination makes the car a genuine little sports car, capable of surprising more than a few.
The vehicle has undergone a full service including:
• complete overhaul of the braking system
• fitting of four new tyres
• complete overhaul of the hydraulic clutch system
• engine maintenance: oil change and replacement of the filter
• gearbox and differential oil change
• carburettor adjustment
