Icon of the 80s, this Porsche 944 Phase 2 still offers the rare balance between timeless elegance, authentic sportiness and reliability. It has the Porsche engine and not an Audi. The retractable headlights still make an impact.
It comes with its service book from the early years as well as invoices for replaced parts. The timing belt kit (water pump included) was replaced in November 2023. Other major work: new clutch, new rear dampers, engine mounts, fuel pump and related filters, driveshaft, injectors, transmission oil changed, as well as battery, ignition sensors, cooling fan thermoswitch, relays, etc.
The vehicle runs perfectly and reliably; some spare parts and original parts replaced kept as proof of its incredible reliability will be supplied. The original exhaust has been replaced by one that amplifies the engine sound (real pleasure) but it’s still in working condition and will also be supplied. The engine purrs like a cat on the motorway.
Regular maintenance with Porsche Classic oil. Occasional injector cleaning with fuel additives.
