Description
Our MGB was born in 1964, at the heart of the golden age of British sportscars. Direct heir to the know-how developed by MG in Abingdon and inspired by the cars entered in the greatest international events such as Sebring, the Monte Carlo Rally and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it perfectly embodies the spirit of the small English GTs: lightweight, well-balanced, reliable and devastatingly efficient. Prepared and developed for many years for historic competition, this MGB today benefits from an up-to-date Historic Technical Passport (PTH), allowing it to take part in the most prestigious events reserved for historic vehicles. Its engine, completely rebuilt about 2, 500 km ago, offers top-class performance while preserving the original mechanical spirit that made the MGB's reputation: reliability, robustness and driving pleasure. Tuned over the seasons, this car has real competition pedigree with several participations in the Tour Auto to its credit, one of Europe's most demanding historic events. On closed roads as well as on circuits, it still demonstrates today the qualities that built MG's legend: a precise chassis, excellent balance, spirited mechanics and a unique ability to compete with much more powerful cars. More than a mere collectible MGB, it is an authentic historic racing car, prepared with passion and ready to continue its story.
