This Jaguar XJS has undergone a major mechanical overhaul in recent years, with over €15, 500 invested between 2024 and 2025 by a Jaguar specialist.
2024
Full service: engine oil change, filters and spark plugs.
Four new tyres.
Full wheel alignment.
Electrical work and reliability upgrades.
Replacement of boot struts and various trim components.
2025
Complete overhaul of the Jaguar hydraulic braking system: master cylinder, rear calipers, discs, pads and brake hoses.
Refurbishment of the power-assisted steering hydraulic circuit, including replacement of hoses and fittings.
Automatic gearbox fluid change.
Full wheel alignment.
Various additional tuning and reliability-enhancing work.
The vehicle comes with its original Jaguar service book, as well as a comprehensive service history documenting over €24, 000 worth of work and maintenance throughout its life.
This XJS has remained very close to its original condition and presents very well overall. There are a few minor cosmetic imperfections worth noting, notably a small hole in the soft top and bodywork that would benefit from professional polishing.
Mechanically, the car performs impeccably: no smoke, no vibrations, no suspension noise, no oil leaks and a particularly smooth automatic gearbox. It offers exactly the driving pleasure one would expect from a perfectly maintained XJS.
The vehicle passed the Belgian MOT in 2024 without any faults and is currently registered in Belgium with an ‘Oldtimer’ number plate in our client’s name.
