A rare opportunity to acquire a 1969 Porsche 912 Targa finished in its original Golden Green shade, imported from California in 2010 and cared for meticulously ever since—over 16 years.
History & use
Third owner. Driven on average once a month, never in the rain, totalling fewer than 10, 000 miles over 16 years. Kept in a permanently heated concrete garage.
Work carried out in 2024 – Full service (approx. £20, 000, Porsche invoices)
Brakes: replacement of both rear calipers, refurbishment of both front calipers, brake circuit bleeding, cleaning and deglazing of the handbrake shoes, adjustment of travel
Clutch: replacement of the friction plate, pressure plate, release bearing and guide piece
Carburettors: removal, cleaning, replacement of gaskets, adjustment
Suspension: replacement of both front dampers
Ignition: replacement of spark plugs
Bodywork: replacement of the complete floor pan, door check straps
Miscellaneous: replacement of the battery retaining strap
Equipment
Motolita steering wheel fitted — original steering wheel supplied with the vehicle.
