Description
is offering you this automobile—selected with care and accompanied by a detailed presentation.
Off the factory line on 23 February 1959 in its Healey Blue colour with a navy-blue interior, this is an Austin Healey 100/ 6 BN4 that we are offering for sale. The 6-cylinder version of the “Hundred” model, with the 3000’s bodywork. For the BN4, the engine featured a new exhaust manifold and a new cylinder head, enabling improved performance and the development of 117 bhp (almost identical to the Austin Healey 3000 BT7).
Restored in full around twenty years ago, our car’s bodywork shows some light age-related patina and a few time-worn imperfections. That said, the vehicle is very sound and shows no signs of corrosion. The mechanical parts and the underpinnings (chassis, floor pans and lower body/ inner sills) are in excellent condition (see photos).
We have the British Motor Heritage documentation to confirm that our roadster is fully Matching Colors and Matching Numbers. As such, the body, engine and gearbox are indeed original components, just like both the interior and exterior colours, which were exactly those delivered new in 1959. An original detail: it is fitted with Dunlop-type wheels, setting it apart from its counterparts equipped with chromed wire-spoke wheels.
The car is equipped with a blue PVC hood with its frame, a tonneau cover, and sidescreens.
No expenses are anticipated.
Part exchange is possible on your collection vehicle.
We are at your disposal for any further information.
