First of the Big Healey models, our car was delivered brand new in January 1960. The Austin Healey BN7, two-seat version, is rare because it was built for just 2 years and produced in only 2, 800 examples.
This car has been fully restored. First, a complete refurbishment of the bodywork and upholstery between 2015 and 2016. Then, in 2021, the mechanical work: the engine and gearbox were rebuilt by a specialist.
From an aesthetic point of view, this car is superb. Its two-tone “red & black” paintwork pairs perfectly with its red upholstery, finished with black piping, which is in excellent condition and “matching colours”. Its “matching number” engine — as confirmed by the British Motor Heritage — has been completely rebuilt and runs on unleaded petrol. The road test we carried out confirmed the quality of the work performed on this car, showing a very well-balanced overall feel. The car is also fitted with electronic ignition. We also have a substantial file of invoices.
