Description
Magnificent and rare 1956 Dodge station wagon.
This Mopar is powered by the famous 315 cu in Hemi engine, producing 260 hp, and features a touch-button automatic gearbox. Originally sold new in the United States, this Dodge Sierra was bought in 2003 in Michigan by an English collector, who arranged its import to his country. Since the car was still in original condition at the time, he entrusted it to a specialist workshop, which brought back all its former glory by restoring the bodywork and interior.
With its spacious cabin and large bench seats that can accommodate six people, the two-tone paintwork is as beautiful as the interior, which boasts an elegant finish: grab handles and an ashtray at the rear, rear quarter deflectors, carefully finished door panels, and a dashboard that brings the luxury of a proper American car to the fore. The tailgate opens in two parts, and the two wings framing it—with their chromed tips—look superb.
This Dodge is a great opportunity to acquire a particularly original and rare automobile in Europe.
French registration document (collection) in my name.
I’ve just taken part in a great gathering in Switzerland, and the Dodge covered 1, 600 km over the weekend…
