Hello, I’m reluctantly selling my 4L Clan with up-to-date registration.
The engine starts first time and it can still be driven as far as the CT testing centre; however, it will be collected via a trailer from here.
Perforating corrosion needs to be tackled first, along with a few minor issues which have already been partly sorted (windscreen washer has been put back into working order—remaining job is to replace the exhaust mountings/ silentblocs).
Routine maintenance was done just before the sale (filters, oil change, spark plugs). The brake master cylinder is recent. The brakes haven’t been redone, but they do need doing.
I’m also including a job lot of parts (some indicator/ light lenses, two headlamps, an air filter housing, a heater console without a radio, a wiper mechanism, etc.)—plus 5 complete wheels with worn tyres (ideal for building a second set for rally/ raid use), and an obligatory raid tow hook.
It also has a tow hitch hook, perfect for hauling the garden rubbish/ grass to the tip.
In summary: you’re buying an old vehicle that needs some renovation work, but the base is complete and in working order.
