Some cars become far more than just a means of transport.
This Peugeot 605 SRTI is one of them.
Registered on 6 December 1995, it joined our family on 30 November 1999 (second-hand), when my father—former Simca-Chrysler workshop manager—bought it.
A professional in the motor trade throughout his entire career, he looked after his vehicles with particular care.
When he passed away in 2007, I naturally carried on the same maintenance routine with the same level of care.
For over twenty-five years, this 605 has always been lovingly cared for. Kept undercover in a barn (Dordogne 24), protected from the weather and maintained properly.
Today, the sale of our family property unfortunately forces (my mother and I) to let it go. This decision isn’t made from the heart, but out of necessity.
I hope it will find its way to an enthusiast who will continue its story.
