1951 Porsche 356 Coupé Pre-A with the split rear window – Early production model, delivered by D'Ieteren.
In 1950, D'Ieteren signed an import contract with Porsche, becoming the fourth importer outside Germany. In 1961, D'Ieteren obtained permission to assemble cars near Brussels, as Porsche Germany didn’t have sufficient production capacity. This particular example was therefore imported but not assembled in Belgium.
The car is in excellent condition and features the famous split rear window (Geteilte Frontscheibe – a temporary solution at the time, as making curved glass panes was complex and costly), a legendary specification, especially because it was only produced for a short period.
