Description
A history and the incredible “Madame story” (a real mileage of just 1, 260 km!) :
* Year of manufacture 1990 / First registration 1993 : The original registration was delayed until 1993. Why? A serious domestic dispute! “Madame” flatly refused to get into this “UFO” that attracted all the attention.
* 33 years of hibernation : After covering only a few kilometres and following the marital row, the car was taken off the road and literally forgotten in a garage (surrounded by a hedge). After more than three decades sleeping the “Sleeping Beauty” way, the original owner finally decided to sell this intact museum piece.
* The extremely low mileage of 1, 260 km is absolutely genuine and is proof of the pristine, unspoilt condition of the mechanical components.
Documentation and registration :
* Complete Belgian file : The vehicle is properly registered as a classic car (* Ancêtre*).
* Official Car-Pass : The 1, 260 km mileage is officially and fully certified by the Belgian Car-Pass.
Chassis, bodywork and absolute rarity :
* Original chassis : The original Citroën platform and all key components that left the factory have been preserved in their initial state, with no welding.
* Original Arndt wide-body kit : An extremely rare fibreglass (GFK) conversion kit, typical of the 1980s/ 1990s, characterised by twin headlights and flared, muscular wings. A genuinely one-off find on the market!
*
* Engine and performance (40 bhp) :
* 40 bhp optimised setup : A significant performance gain over the standard 29 bhp version. * High-performance 652 cc cylinders : Optimised displacement with precision machining and a premium-grade coating for maximum thermal stability and a lively torque curve.
* Cylinder specifications : Highly wear-resistant aluminium cylinders with Nikasil coating (nickel–silicon carbide matrix) for minimal friction and optimum heat dissipation (design based on the Citroën Visa V06 engine).
* Fuel system : Optimised-mapping Weber 32/ 34 carburettor, calibrated for the increased displacement.
* Exhaust system : Modified sport exhaust (or “side-pipe” type) for improved back-pressure and a powerful “boxer” engine sound. A perfect blend between the wide, aggressive Arndt Hoffmann wide-body kit and the 40 bhp boxer engine performance that goes with it.
In short : a truly unique find for collectors, museums and enthusiasts of unusual builds blending French and German influences. A car with a story—one that’s bound to spark plenty of conversation at any meet!
