Very nice Saab 900 Turbo Cabriolet
Sportwagen Paris presents this very handsome Saab 900 Turbo Cabriolet, finished in its Bordeaux colour (Ruby Red).
Brand-new delivered to the United States in 1993, then imported to France in 2026, it has had just three owners since new. It now shows 84, 000 miles (around 134, 000 km), an odometer history that can be tracked from its time of registration (Carfax available).
The paintwork is in very good condition and is still largely original. The car has been regularly maintained and has a documented service record that lets you trace the work carried out over the years.
Under the bonnet you’ll find the high-pressure 2. 0-litre 16-valve Turbo producing 160 bhp, mated to an automatic gearbox. A setup that suits the 900 Cabriolet particularly well, letting you cover long distances comfortably while also enjoying country roads.
The Saab 900 Cabriolet is also a true four-seater—properly accommodating for family trips. Its electric alpaca hood, in perfect condition, allows you to switch quickly from coupe configuration to open-top.
Well optioned, too, with air conditioning, electric windows, electric seats, recent Apple CarPlay, etc.
The history shows that several major items have already been addressed. In particular, the hood’s hydraulic system has been refurbished, with both rams and the hydraulic pump replaced.
Work has also been carried out on the engine and transmission sealing, including replacing the front crankshaft oil seal and the transmission bell-housing gasket, along with interventions on the distributor and the turbo’s oil circuit.
The SRS system has been checked and repaired, with replacement of the ECU and work carried out on the steering-wheel turn signal switch. On the braking side, the brake fluid has been replaced and the ABS accumulator changed, with bleeding of the circuit. Several other peripheral components have also been dealt with, including the cooling circuit, indicators and hazard lights, the hood cable and the headlamp washer system.
Finally, the car was serviced in May 2026 and requires no further costs at this time.
With 160 bhp, an automatic gearbox and four proper seats, this Saab remains a classic that’s genuinely easy to live with. It’s well suited to long-distance driving in good conditions, and it works just as well for everyday trips as it does for weekend getaways in the open air.
This Saab’s reputation for robustness—paired here with a mileage history from new, only three owners, and lots of recent work—makes it easy to consider regular use, while also enjoying a model that naturally fits among 1990s collectible cars.
