MERCURY 1/ 2 TON PICKUP TRUCK. 1946 was the very first year of production for Mercury pickup trucks. Production and sales were exclusively for Canada. The Mercury pickup truck is the deluxe and upmarket version of the FORD TRUCK and is therefore based on a 1946 FORD 1/ 2 ton pickup, with original mechanics and a 3900 cc 239 cid V8 flathead with a 3+R manual gearbox.
The truck is completely original, with a very nice patina and period-correct badging on the doors, runs very well......
