For sale: an Austin Metro in near-mint condition. This Metro left the showroom on 13 August 1986 and, after nearly 40 years, its odometer reads just 6, 165 km. A genuine time capsule. It's in superb condition; I'd venture to say it's unique in this state of preservation! Untouched and absolutely incredible, it's essentially the opportunity to acquire a "virtually new" collector's car without equal. The 1000 LS model is equipped with original metallic paint, more ergonomic fabric seats, blue carpeting, wheel trims and a digital clock. After being stored for a few years, nothing was left to chance when it was recommissioned: mechanically, it received a full service (fluids, filters, spark plugs and general system check). It's fitted with a new battery and four new tyres that have covered only 13 km. It exhibits no extraneous noises. It comes with the owner's manual and a spare set of keys.
