Apart from Kennedy, who doesn't like Lincolns? I adore them myself, but I have to part with this one... So here is my 1964 Lincoln Continental, with the 430ci MEL series engine and the 3-speed automatic gearbox, the Large Case also known as the 'Turbo Drive', with a French carte grise (registration document) and collector status. The old girl was rescued from an underground car park with the engine and gearbox out of the car. Since then I've put everything back in, rebuilt the gearbox which was knackered, and done what was needed to make her a proper super cruiser. All the suspension and braking was replaced by the previous owner, so everything is new. The engine was rebuilt from scratch by a professional, and I've fitted an electronic ignition and an Edelbrock carburettor. She starts and drives brilliantly. The interior is in very good condition. The bodywork is left in its original state, with a few rust spots that will need treating, but nothing serious. The chassis is immaculate. This lovely old girl still deserves a bit of love. Some things don't work (the electric bench seat, the rear right window, the speedometer cable and a few other odds and ends), but that doesn't stop you enjoying the car while you sort them out. The price is €14, 700, and at that price it's rare to find a car that runs and drives this well, especially as it's a relatively rare high-end model (some are listed for a minimum of €20, 000 on leboncoin). I know she isn't perfect, and the price is reasonably negotiable, but I wouldn't give her away either. I'm selling because I have no private place to store her. She currently sleeps under cover at a friend's place, and I don't get the chance to drive her or finish the odd jobs on her. No swaps.
