Description
In 2005 Ford unveiled the fifth generation of its Mustang, with a so-called "neo-retro" design inspired by the 1967-68 Mustangs. The Ford Mustang GT V8 of this new generation introduced an entirely new, stiffer chassis and marked the Mustang generations as the first modern Mustang. It also saw the return of the tuner Shelby to the Mustang range, as here with this 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT.
Performance and engine:
This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT uses the 4. 6-litre V8 from the Mustang GT, but mildly uprated to produce 325 horsepower and 447Nm of torque. Shelby added an improved air intake, a freer-flowing exhaust system and a light engine remap. Regarding transmission, it features a 5-speed manual gearbox with HURST shifter and linkage, a short-shift lever, and rear axle ratio tuning to favour acceleration. All of this allows it to reach 250km/ h and 0-100km/ h in 5 seconds. The Shelby preparation also extends to the chassis, with shorter, firmer springs, new dampers and wishbones. Reinforced anti-roll bars are fitted along with anti-dive bars.
It comes with the following equipment:
- Ebony Black colour
- Silver rally stripes, painted under lacquer
- 18-inch gloss black wheels with chrome lip
- Original Shelby pack (authentic, with compliance plates)

- Performance air intake
