1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. V8 engine with a three-speed manual gearbox. Same owner for the past 16 years. The car shows 165, 000 miles on the odometer and has covered roughly 5, 000 km since its restoration. It is in superb cosmetic and mechanical condition. Full restoration from 2020 to 2023, no corners cut. Bodyshell and chassis: stripped back to bare metal. Full treatment of the chassis and bodyshell. No filler, tin-soldered seams. One rear wing has been replaced. Engine and transmission: complete engine rebuild with a new twin-barrel carburettor, plus a host of new gaskets and fasteners. Shot-blasted and painted black the transmission components, suspension and part of the chassis. Brakes and steering: new brake and steering servos. New brake discs. New wire wheels. Interior: the blue vinyl upholstery is in very good condition. The headlining is new. The petrol tank is also new. Finishing touches: a multitude of parts (fasteners, gaskets, bushes, interior and exterior badges and assorted rubber components). This Mustang is ready to hit the road.
