Peugeot 104 GLS Prepared for the TOUR AUTO
Magnificent and exceptional Peugeot 104 GLS in its original "Mandarine" colour, producing 135 bhp on the dyno, dating from 11 February 1975 with only 57, 000 km from new. A genuine French second owner since August 2011, it comes with both keys and its period service book.
The car is on consignment, belonging to a well-known figure in the motoring world who has invested a substantial amount of money in preparing it to compete in the Tour Auto and other major events.

Engine:
New ZS2 engine block (bought New Old Stock from L'Aventure Peugeot), FG800S nodular cast iron liners (spheroidal graphite iron) with a 76mm bore, lightened and balanced flywheel, balanced crankshaft coupled to a sprung metal clutch and reinforced mechanism. SAENZ connecting rods (long type), Wossner pistons (short type).
Samba Groupe B cylinder head (refurbished and machined) with stainless 42mm and 39mm valves (large inlet and exhaust valves, TFC Engineering XSI type), 7mm stems, 4-cam springs and collars, 7mm bronze guides. Four-cam camshaft (318-318 duration, 12. 2 lift), balanced rockers (with Porsche hardware) and aluminium ring shims between the rockers.
Samba Rallye five-speed gearbox with new synchros and 15:61 final drive, reinforced SNRA-PCI competition driveshafts, Quick-Shift gear lever.
45 inlet manifold plus 2 flexible couplings plus 2 Weber DCOE45 carburettors.
Transistorised ignition.
Retarded oil pump plus breather plus fibre air box plus silicone hoses.
Competition welded aluminium radiator (Extreme model) plus Stack auxiliary fan.
Servo-assisted brakes with Visa Chrono aluminium twin-piston calipers plus rear drums.
Bespoke stainless steel "DALUZ développement" exhaust manifold with an OMP silencer.
Bespoke engine guard plate.
New original VISA Mille Piste roll hoop, adapted.
AMIL ZS 6x13 aluminium wheels.
Original bodyshell, 55, 000 km before preparation, with widened wings (no filler).
Reinforced front end with STAC ball-joint suspension arms, double-diameter anti-roll bars and four VIAROUGE competition dampers.
Jaeger gauge dashboard plus ZS2 suede-wrapped steering wheel.
Bespoke interior by Machine Revival with bucket seats, SABELT harnesses, rally intercom with helmets and helmet nets.
The car also carries two full spare wheels, fitted in place of the rear seats, plus an anti-intrusion bar, and more.
This very nice 104 is in near-new condition, has never been damaged and offers exceptional performance and handling. It has covered only 3, 000 km since its preparation for its TOUR AUTO 2019 entry.
