Private sale: 1963 Mercedes W111 220 SE/ b Coupé. 6-cylinder inline engine, 2195 cc, 120 bhp DIN. Four-speed manual gearbox with floor-mounted shifter. Power steering. Around 91, 000 miles on the odometer (five digits). Black leather interior in good order, wood trim in good condition with no signs of water damage. Very sound bodywork with a few minor blemishes (2-3 small stone chips and 2-3 small dents). No visible corrosion on the bodywork, and no filler either. The car was repainted more than 20 years ago and the paint still looks good. Mechanically sound and running well: it starts and holds idle. An ignition and fuel injection service will be needed for the car to run perfectly. Compression readings are good. Exhaust system replaced a few years ago. Recent work: fuel pump rebuilt, and front subframe bushes and engine/ gearbox mounts replaced. A small service will be carried out before sale.
