The Appeal
The Triumph Spitfire Mk IV represents one of the most accessible and enjoyable classic British roadsters, but this particular example offers something truly special - the heart of a GT6 in the nimble body of a Spitfire. This "Spit Six" conversion combines the lightweight handling characteristics of the Spitfire with the more powerful 2.0L straight-six engine from its GT6 cousin. This example has just emerged from a comprehensive restoration completed in late 2024. Having been rescued as a stalled project, the current owner has methodically brought this Spitfire back to life, addressing mechanical issues that had kept it off the road since 2014. The blue respray is complemented by a largely renewed interior.

History and Paperwork
