The Legend TT was made by Triumph from 1998 to 2001, based on the three cylinder liquid cooled Thunderbird, the priority for the new Legend TT was affordability, so the designers reduced the initial cost by producing a stripped down hot rod version, with less chrome. Design features included a satin black powder coated engine, 'teardrop' fuel tank, reverse cone megaphone silencers and spoked wheels on 17 inch chrome rims. The colour options were 'Obsidian Black', 'Cardinal Red' and 'Imperial Green'. In 1999 the Delux version was introduced with two tone paint.
Like most early Hinckley Triumph's, the T-Bird family benefited from engineering paranoia to the extent that the Triumph Legend TT is massively over-engineered, under stressed and pretty durable too.
This Cardinal Red over Silver example has had a gentle life, only covering some 16, 000 miles from new. Our vendor purchased it in January 2017 and is only selling it as he rarely uses it. It comes with heated hand grips and a seat back rest.
Sold with the V5C, MOT until June 2019 and various paperwork.
