AJS Model 20 500 cc Twin
Lovely condition with some useful modifications to make this a practical classic bike to on and run .
Stainless rims and spokes
Electronic Thorspark ignition which hides in the magneto points location so does not spoil the classic look but gives reliable hot and cold first kick starting ( No more embarrasing fuel stops !)
Oil filter tucked under the seat
Oil valve to prevent wet sumping after a long layup .. There is a switch on the valve so this can be wired through the ignition to make it foolproof if you wish .
Everything works as it should.. sounds fantastic !
The AJS rides very well and starts easily with a low compression so engine so would make a practical alternative to larger brit twins with no real performance difference in normal use .
