I have owned this Coupe for the last two years & and it's been a pleasure. Originally I was in the market for an Alfa GTA but couldn't find suitable car in the condition/ spec/ price , then this popped up for sale. 1999 Broom yellow , resprayed to a high standard 2016, Cambelt & substantial mechanical overhaul 2016, Full service history with every invoice dating back to 2000. Fiat dealer & specialist garages only.
In my ownership I have spent over £2000 on maintenance & improvements. Garaged, only driven in the dry. In my ownership approx 2k miles completed mainly thanks to the UK weather & young family demands.
12 months MOT.
Milage 116k - not the lowest but based on the amount of history and work taken place I purchased based on condition.
Drives excellent as you would expect. Always warmed up & cooled down correctly. Enthusiast owned. All my cars are treated with respect and care. Oil pressure very good. Engine is standard. K&N air filter currently fitted , although standard mint condition oem air box and filter will be supplied with car.
Recent work completed
Clutch & slave cylinder just replaced less than 500 miles. Visco differential seals replaced. New rear disks & pads, thermostat, CHOD (coolant hose 'of death' replaced with silicone item) , stainless steel cat-back exhaust. Exhaust manifold crack repair.
Alloy wheels refurbished. Immaculate condition.
Interior black leather in very good condition. Centre console refurbished to oem finish. Original clarion tape deck.
Future attention will be required to the turbo. Ive been advised seals are tired. This clears after 2/ 3 mins and does not smoke under boost idle. This does not affect the driving of the car or performance. But I must mention this to be totally truthful. My intention was to fit a updated turbo but after my recent visit to National Alfa Day my heart is with that marque.
As mentioned at the beginning of this advert I'm specifically after an Alfa V6 - 156/ 147 GTA & consider GT 3. 2 so I'm open to deals on these cars. Ortherwise a cash sale.
Overall to summarise a stunning Coupe in fine order bringing complements wherever it goes. If you are looking for a well sorted Coupe please consider this one.
