Lotus Elan+2, S130, 1974, immaculate white paintwork with dark metallic green roof. This car is only being sold as a necessity of reducing my private collection. I am 61 and had bought all my cars with the intention of keeping them as my pension/ financial security. My Wife pointed out that I had lost the plot, too many cars, taking up too much time, and we were not getting out and enjoying them. I had always wanted a Lotus, the handling is superb. I had seen many cars however they all suffered with the dreaded fibreglass crazing. I came across this one by chance, and seeing the bodywork I purchased it immediately. It drives superb, handles like a go-cart and is great fun, and we have done journeys with 4 adults in the car. I purchased it knowing that the history had been mislaid by a previous owner. It only has the V5 document, current M. O. T. until April 2019 and an old M. O. T. dated February 1982 to 1983 with mileage showing at 47, 779. The mileage now reads 60, 077. It shows 9 former keepers, but even knowing this it drives so well and looks so good it did not put me off. I have bought most of my Classic Cars with a complete and detailed history folder, and some through dealers, and as with all Classic Cars it cannot guarantee what may happen with the mechanicals and bodywork! Seeing and driving a car is the only real way of knowing what you are getting.
