What an amazing Find, A very original 190SL that has been in the same family in California since it was first purchased in 1962. The original owner was a School Teacher from Long Beach California, when she passed it was given to her son who restored the car in the 1980, s, until he passed it was always garage kept and maintained, he removed the engine to rebuilt it in the mid 90, s and the engine was rebuilt and he was fine tuning it on the engine stand you see in the photos as it still sits today unfortunately he also passed before he could finish it, the car was then passed to the grandson. The car has always been a California car and has a super nice clean straight original body, all the parts including any that were removed are with the car and it is complete, it has both tops including the original factory hard top it came with when new, It is extremely hard to locate a one family owned 190SL with history. This will be a very easy car to restore and put back on the road.
