This car was driven in to a barn over 35 years ago and never touched since. The reasons were very personal
This also explains the super low mileage of 15, 049 miles. The car is totally complete but needs restoration so selling as spares or repair for that reason
My dad had this exact same model and this is why this came in to my life a few months ago and then I could not believe later I found a runner and bought that too.
My work situation change last week so hence I need to sell one one them and so this has to go and it owes me way more than the selling price
The Victor has been dry stored in my garage with a heater and covered, then moved to the car port but I need the car port now...
It is still dry stored under a temp wood structure with two waterproof tarpaulins and a has an oil heater on low 24/ 7 so remains bone dry and warm
It has a 1600cc engine and 4 speed box and is all original and would make a fabulous restoration and even has the original wheel trims etc
This car also has the better front discs rather than drum brakes
The car comes with period correct fitted disc brakes up front and a roof rack
Underneath looks solid enough though I've seen a hole in the drivers foot well about the size of a penny (not even that big)
Obviously this car needs recommissioning and needs other work to be done prior to putting on the road
It is tax and MOT free although I always MOT my cars when on the road.
DVLA are aware I am the owner and I forgot to send off for the V5, which I have just done now so hopefully it will be here soon .... I will in any case either make sure you have the V5 or knock £25 off for you to apply for one although my V5 is coming through now.. I will provide photo ID too for your peace of mind
I am gutted that this I have to sell this as I was looking forward to restoration this over winter then selling the other one.
I have know people who are very good and cheap for transportation if needed and I can assist with loading no problem. The car rolls fine but one tyre is very bad and I will replace that before the sale with a brand new one.
If you want the tarpaulins, I will include those no problem
I know cheap professional transporters too if you need and happy to keep the car here (at your risk after purchase) until you can arrange transportation. I can also help with loading if need be
