For sale is my 1980 Bedford CF250 Glendale Motorhome which is in excellent condition inside and out. The Motorhome has been maintained to keep it original, damp free and mechanically reliable to ensure it is a great useable Motorhome. It has a valid MOT until July 2019 and will become MOT and TAX free the following year. The Motorhome was owned for 35 years by the same owner who clearly looked after it very well and used a winter cover which is still in use and comes with the Motorhome.
There is full service history, utility instructions and Bedford CF series handbook and 2 sets of keys.
The 2279 cc 4 speed petrol engine was totally rebuilt in November 2017 and the unleaded conversion was completed. At the same time the brake wheel cylinders and pads were replaced and a new handmade stainless still exhaust fitted, and gearbox serviced. A new clutch has also been fitted and all oils changed. The front cab is original, and everything works including the original radio. The seats are in excellent condition and the vehicle is lite and easy to drive and has the advantage due to its size of being able to park in standard car parking spaces.
The inside layout is brilliant and difficult to beat with many other similar size Motorhomes. There are 2 good sized double beds (a rear bed and over-cab bed). The over-cab bed is roomy and has lots of head room and is easily accessible with the ladder. The interior is original and in excellent condition and all the utilities work as they should. This includes the sink, taps, Paloma instant hot water heater, fridge, gas hob, grill, oven and gas fire. The bathroom is again original and all in good condition and working including the toilet, sink and shower. A new carpet in keeping with the previous one has been fitted as well as a new onboard water tank and pump, roof vent and leisure battery.
Hopefully you can see from the pictures that the overall bodywork is in good condition and receives lots of admiring comments. It is a both a classic and useable motorhome which is easy to maintain. sadly, I am selling it to fund an everyday classic car.
The motorhome will be sold with an electric hook up and a 4. 5kg gas cylinder.
