Beschreibung
This is a solid, well-preserved and unrestored 43400-mile March 1983 Citroen GSA Pallas, ready to drive away.
It has 5-doors, an air-cooled 1299cc flat-4 OHC unleaded engine, and a 5-speed gearbox.
Owned as a DIY hobby car since Aug 2013 - the previous owner had it from 2002, and an elderly couple owned it from Sept 1983 to 2002.
Paint, glass, doors, floor, and interior are factory original; the bonnet and under-tray have been replaced.
Handbook, starting-handle, jack, front-grill winter muff and roller-blind boot cover are all present.
Corrosion in the boot sides and sills was repaired, and the petrol tank replaced, by the previous owner's garage.
The suspension and brakes have new LHM fluid, and 3 new front spheres.
It was SORNED from purchase to MoT in May 2018 for repair - mainly DIY, with garage input as needed.
The bonnet is newly painted. New hatchback struts, timing belts and tensioners are fitted.
In July 2018, my Citroen Specialist renewed the 6 parts of the front exhaust system including the Y-pipe, and repaired engine oil-return-pipe leaks and an LHM pump leak.
The maintenance history from 2002 is supported by receipts for £4K by the previous owner and a further £1. 8K to date.
The car has only done 60 miles since its last MOT in May 2018 and is garaged 4 miles south of Maldon, Essex.
