Description
This has been one of my classic cars for 4. 5 years. It has been totally dependable and runs smooth and quiet. All the windows and doors work as they should and it has passed every MOT I have taken it to, first time. The vehicle has always started first time.
Newly MOT'd on the 21st Sept to 5th October 2019.
It is a car that can keep up with everyday traffic and I have taken it on various trips across the country without problem. The engine runs smooth and quiet. The suspension was renovated by the previous owner that he might sell the car and is perfect.
The body work does "not" have rust in all the usual places. You will find this low mileage car unbelievable strong on its sills and front and rear valances (no welding ever done and the jacking points are solid as a rock and not flattened)! However, the old boy who owned it before had to sell it as he kept bumping it, but it does have large bumpers and is not bad and can easily be put right. It is edges.
I have a complete set of workshop manuals for it (practically unused) and the four Avon tyres have very little wear on them.
Please note the mileage is there or there abouts. The vehicle was laid up with the previous owner but kept MOT'd and the odometer did not work for a period.
The door capping have been revarnished to a reasonable standard.
The Flying Lady is under the security cover on the top of the grill
