V8 Soft Dash Range Rover classic in Montpellier red. As can be seen in the photos this car looks great. The interior is in extremely good condition, body work is very straight and the paint work is good. There's no rust on the body work anywhere on the vehicle. The vehicle has undergone some restoration in the past and as such has had a new rear floor and rear crossmember fitted to a high standard.
The vehicle has covered 156000 miles over its lifetime (Mileage increasing as used daily). The vehicles runs very well and pulls like a train - I recently drove 160 miles in it and it didn't miss a beat.
The wheels have undergone some refurbishment in the past and are finished to a good standard. The vehicle has air suspension which functions but could probably do with a service. There is evidence that the chassis has undergone some wax oil in the past to preserve the metal. All the sills and chassis are solid and I would welcome any inspection to back up this claim.
There is MOT on the vehicle until June 2019.
There are however a few areas of concern that I wanted to highlight and is commensurate of how I have valued this vehicle for sale.
The vehicle will probably require some welding to the front inner wings and the passenger side wheel arch at some point (which Range Rover classic doesn't need welding?)
There is a warning light on the dash for the air suspension - the air suspension functions so never really looked into it in more detail
The car was a Cat C write off in 2008 ( if you're reading this you'll know Range Rover Classics that they weren't as valuable 10 years ago so I believe the damage to have been very little (since then the car has been restored by the previous owner)
This Range Rover Classic is a great vehicle with many fantastic attributes i. e. clean interior, no sagging headliner etc) It needs a small amount of work to get it back to where it needs to be if you want to be picky - however this car is my daily driver and as such is used daily. I firmly believe this vehicle to be worth in excess of £10k like other examples on car and classic. I have too many projects and too little time to complete this vehicle hence the reason to pass onto someone else.
