MOT Exempt. Tax Exempt. Original 3500cc V8, with just 27, 000 miles covered. Very late release from the Military in 2001. One keeper since release. Rear Bench Seats. 115th 101 off the production line.
We are delighted to present for sale this fine 101, in the best possible configuration ; 12 volt, right hand drive, 3500cc V8 soft top. This vehicle will qualify for MOT and Tax Exemption with the DVLA once the application has been completed. We will do this for the new keeper.
As the photos show this is a very tidy example, and still retains lots of the kit one would hope to see on a vehicle such as this - bridging plate, original military glass lenses, pioneer tools (the axe will be supplied with the vehicle, it was originally missing however we have found an original replacement) and a nato hitch. Please note that we will be supplying a brand new canvas with the vehicle which will be fitted once it arrives with us - there are significant delays in acquiring these due to the fact they are hand sewn!
On the inside, there are two front deluxe seats with twin benches fitted in the rear. The vehicle houses a rear load mat, along with the spare and the jack and handle.
Out on the road, this vehicle drives just as it should - the V8 is a very sweet unit, probably due to the low mileage and fastidious maintenance in the military. This vehicle is a joy - powerful, complaint due to the Parabolic Springs, and it gives a commanding view of the road.
