Offered for sale is my light project Jaguar V12.
I bought this along with another vehicle from a friend of mine and it was really purchased to secure the other vehicle so hence the reason for sale. I am a classic collector ad have had a few of these in the past and they are a joy to drive.
The V12 jags are becoming very sought after and collectable and rightly so.
This is a late series 3 car towards the end of their production. The body is generally good . It has some bubbling on a couple of the arches and some on the drivers front wing but not rotted through. It has a few rust spots around the front and rear screens but only surface. The trims are not fitted to address this and new rubbers are in the boot. As you can see the car is very presentable and usable as is but I would do the repairs and paint , but it can be used as is and still turn heads. Pictures were taken last week.
The car underneath does need some welding to the front drivers side floor area not seen if you lift the carpets and an area near the front subframe area. The car apart from this is not bad and deserves to be taken to the next level.
The engine runs beautiful! Quiet , no smoke , smooth and great oil pressure. It drives lovely with an excellent gear change and brakes. Mechanically the car is excellent and the engine bay is in great shape with a lot of original stickers in place.
Wheels are genuine pepper pots with the correct Pirelli tyres.
The interior is beautiful as you can see in the pictures. Even the headlining is good. The seats are lovely with sheepskin rugs. Everything seems to work , even the Ac blows cold! The central locking is the only thing that dosent seem to work but I have not investigated this.
This really is a worthwhile project that is sensibly priced. As i said these cars are rising rapidly in value. With a small investment this project could be a stunning car. The mileage is 64, 700 and it has part history but judging by the interior I would say it is genuine, you can just tell with some cars.
