1968 Fiat Dino Spider - Factory LHD, Factory Manual, Factory 2. 0L V6, Factory Convertible
The car is finished in Factory Azzuro Mettalizato coachwork.
The Fiat Dino Spider was released at the Turin Motor Show in October 1966. Featuring coachwork by the famous Pininfarina, Ferrari Dino GT Engine, rear drive, and the comforts of modern interior.
The name Dino came about as Enzo Ferrari was on a mission to have the 2. 0L V6 (Ferrari Dino) engine homologated to run in Formula F2. Since a small boutique manufacture like Ferrari were unable to produce the required units, an agreement was publicly made that Fiat would produce the 500 necessary engines needed to meet the FIA homologation standards. These were to be installed in a GT car later designated the Fiat Dino, named after the Ferrari Dino it shared running gear with.
With only 1133 of the 2. 0L V6 Spiders made they are very rare.
