Lotus 51b Formula Ford 1968
Shipped to New York America from the factory in 1968 the car was campaigned on the east coast until sold in 1983. It went through a series of ownership and competition when Mr Reyns bought and race the car extensively until 2008. Showing and supplied with a uninterrupted log book between May 1984 to June 2011.
Receipts showing comprehensive engine rebuild in 2008. The car has done very little work since then.
Engine is a 1600cc 711m Block dry sump (51c config) with Hewland / Webster gearbox so you can change the ratios.
The car was repatriated in February 2018 to Norfolk, England just miles from the Lotus factory.
The car comes with a historic file which included pictures, log books, letter and other documentation
