Description
One ownder Citroen C6 (plus previous Citroen ownership) like pretty much all of them). It has covered just 70, 000 miles and has MOT until October 2019. Now for sale, located in Aberdeen Scotland.
The car has been maintained on the basis of keeping everything working correctly for upmost reliability. So Low SAPs oil changes every 6 months. Auto Transmission fluid was first changed at 36, 000 miles and since then every two years. The result of the preventative maintenance is that the engine and gearbox sound and shift pretty much like a new one.
New Michelin Primacy 3 tyres have been fitted to all four corners.
Common C6 issues which have been addressed include replacement of thermostat housing, FRIP joint replacement with later type with better sealing, replacement of all 7 suspension spheres, replacement of alternator drive pulley. The coolant header tank has been replaced with a Peugeot 407 equivalent complete with low level warning sensor (vital on the C6 to give advance warning of coolant loss and so avoid engine destruction). There is also a sump heating pad which I used during the several harsh winters we had some years ago, both to prevent cold engine startup wear and to improve comfort.
The interior is all leather, heated back and front seats which have been much appreciated by the family. The dark grey leather is very hard wearing and the inside pretty much looks like new.
