1973 Rover P5B 3. 5 V8 Automatic
We are proud to offer you this beautiful old Rover P5B which has been in a private collection for a number of years.
These are now proving to be very good investments and this particular one is in excellent condition.
With only 6 former keepers from new this old rover has had very low ownership. It has always been very well maintained throughout its life, we have lot of old receipts with some recent spends going into the thousands, old MOTs, its original instruction/ manual booklets that have been with the car from new, an old blue V5 and lots of old magazines from the Rover P5 owners club.
A lot of money has been spent on getting this car up to this standard with the gearbox being reconditioned, new cylinder heads, a V8 Block, water pump & pulley, timing chain & gears and various trivial things.
It drives excellently with a tremendous roar coming from the old V8 engine, it goes through all the gears perfectly, the brakes are responsive and it accelerates as it should.
The condition of the car is excellent for a car of its age with gorgeous burgundy paintwork, the interior is in very good condition, the wood on the door cards have no splits and are all intact, the carpets are all okay and the headlining is in very good condition.
All the wheels & tyres are in good condition.
