Avenger rally car almost complete but I just dont have time to finish it and don't want it to sit there. Brilliant project for someone which will take not a lot of time or effort to complete.
The shell is in superb condition, it was stripped and the under side and shot blasted , then it was professionally seam welded, strengthened, gusseted , stainless steel jacking box’s fitted , and a professional strengthening kit fitted from O' kanes, seat rails from demon tweeks, and new roll cage from safety devices. The car is painted in wardance red original tiger colour, the roof is not perfect with pitting so will probably want doing again. But not bad.
Fuel lines are aeroquip and all brand new as are exterior brake pipes, the fuel tank is standard with a brand new tank guard from o kanes, with new fuel gauge sensor, hand brake cables are new , it has a brand new laminated front screen. It has red top battery and holder. Plumbed in fire extinguishers (these will need re certified or replaced)
The front has wedged bilstein struts with need inserts. Negative camber x member, and new quick rack , new strengthened arms , new track control arms , and new bushes throughout, rear bilsteins are also new with springs from okanes. There are two rear axles both have newly rebuilt Lsd diff units, one on the car on 9” drum brakes and the other on Chrysler 180 discs. Both axles are strengthened. Facet fuel pumps and holders in boot. Gearbox ford four speed rebuilt with new mounting and bellhousing, new competition clutch and sprigot bearing. Competition engine mountings, engine is 1600 with piper rally cam , duplex timing chain , skip brown head which was rebuilt with fully rebuilt dellorto 45s.
May consider px for rwd rally car that is ready to go prefer Sunbeam etc.
